Last man standing is a choreography in two parts. This work was created specifically in response to Petra Ponte's art project and triptych "A Rap on Race Revisited". The multifaceted, incisive and poetic conversation between the Black writer and social critic James Baldwin (1924–1987) and the white anthropologist and museum curator Margaret Mead (1901–1978) was recited anew as part of this project.
